About Leh:

Leh is the high deserted city in lap of mountains in the Himalayas. It is one of country’s largest district. Topographically, the whole of the district is mountainous with three parallel ranges of the Himalayas, the Zanskar, the Ladakh and the Karakoram. Between these ranges, the Shayok, Indus and Zanskar rivers flow and most of the population lives in valleys of these rivers.

How to Reach Leh:

Leh has a domestic airport which is connected to major international airports of the country. It is very popular to travel between Leh and Ladakh on a road trip as the place offers scenic deserted landscapes. You can either take the (lower) road from Jammu and Kashmir or the (higher) road from Rohtang La via Keylong and Sarchu.
