Description:

The pristine forest lapped in the foot of the Himalayas is one of the most beautiful national parks of India. With a rich history and varied terrain it hosts wide range of biodiversity across the forest. The park is divided into different zones and we will be visiting Dhikala which is the most sought after zone of the park. We get to witness the grandeur of the forest where dense tall Sal tree patches, vast spreads of the grassland known as the Chaurs like the Savannah of Africa, gorgeous ramganga river flowing in different parts of the park and the commencement of valleys of the mountains in the background fill your soul and senses. This view will be transformed in the early mornings rays, adding to the beauty of the place. We can expect to see different species of birds flapping their wings all round the forest, elephants in the grassland, the endangered Gharial, the shy yellow throated martin and of course the main hope is to sight the orange and black stripes of the Royal Bengal Tiger.
