Imagined in the beautiful Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas, Connect is a camping hostel located in Bir, a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies and meditation. It is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa.

In recent times Bir is increasingly becoming popular for its world class Paragliding site, ranked 2nd in terms of height it offers.Paragliding world cup was held in India for the first time, at Bir Billing.

Connect offers camping in comfortable canvas tents, surrounded by pine trees, and sky filled with paragliders seasonally and stars, daily. Our campground is forested, quiet, close to many outdoor activities – and is ideal for someone visiting the place to enjoy the tranquility of nature. Keeping in mind every travellers requirements we have carefully designed the space for unique experience. You can choose from shared dorm tents, private tents and Quecha tents. You can also bring your own tents and we’ll provide you space to pitch it. Also, we have hot showers and flush toilets. There’s a full service café with indoor and outdoor seating that serves local delicacies.

About Bir:

Popularly known as “Paragliding Capital of India”, Bir is situated in the beautiful and heavenly picturesque land of Himachal Pradesh. Bir is also famous for its Bir Tibetan Colony settlement simply referred to as Colony which was established after the exile of Dalai Lama and others from Tibet. This colony houses many Tibetan Monasteries.

How to Reach Bir:

The nearest railway station is at Ahju which connected to Pathankot. Bir is connected to Baijnath and Jogindernagar by road as well.
