Hammock hostels Mysore is situated at the foothills of the famous Chamundi hills with lush green surroundings. India’s most favorite Mysore Zoo, Mysore race club and Karanji Lake are at the walkable distance from the hostel.

The hostel campus has a lot of open space with trees and a lot of shade to sit down and read a book, practices yoga, watch some interesting birds flypast or just to tie up your hammock and rest.

We have very spacious shared rooms with bunk beds and tented accommodation options. Our fully functional kitchen with artistic walls are happy to feed your hunger monsters and ready to face your culinary experiments.

Many species of birds can be sited in and around the hostel campus including Babblers, Bran Owls, Bee-eaters, Bulbuls, Bushlarks, Ring-necked Parakeets, Cuckoos, Drongos, Hornbills etc. This property is no less than an art gallery with a lot of beautifully painted walls to match the culture of Mysore and the serene surroundings. Our lush green lawns with an abundance of sunlight are open and ready for impromptu picnics, lazing around while finishing your plans or just daydreaming, they make a great companion for star gazing too. A perfect place to chill out and rest in-between your travels, away from all the concrete hush-bush, a home away from home, it is.

How to Reach the Hostel:

The hostel is 4 km from the intercity city bus stand.
The property is well connected via private Cabs like Uber/Ola and Auto. You can also use a city bus which will drop you at  Maharanapratap Circle which is a walkable distance from the hostel.
You can even hire a Trin-Trin bicycle near bus stand/railway station which you can drop it at the kiosk on Maharanapratap Circle.

Directions:

When you are coming from the Mysore Zoo take a right turn at the Maharanapratap Circle / traffic signal towards Olive Garden restaurant on Maharanapratap Road.   
Take the next right turn after Olive Garden Restaurant gate. You will find the Hostel on your right.

Later it was ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty and after independence it was incorporated in the Union of India.
